Ocean City Maryland - Best Family Beach fun.
We have been on a lot of family vacations through the years but none is more fun than Ocean City. When you go across the Draw bridge into the city. You will not believe how beautiful it really is. Everything from the streets to the hotels are done up so nicely. Just wait till you view there Boardwalk. The Hotels along the Boardwalk are where we stay and there is nothing quite like it. Our balcony over looked the pool, Boardwalk and the Ocean beach. Let me tell you, It's a sight you wont soon forget.
Our trip included my wife (Tammy) and our 14yr. old son Dylan. Your first thought is to explore the boardwalk. Which is exactly what we did. The Boardwalk is really long and has so many sights to see. We took time to see the Ocean pier with its amusement park built out on it. If your going to do this with kids, give yourself some time. It even has Ripley's believe it or not. After a full day of this, looking in beach shops and eating till you bust. It was time to head back to our room. We were happy but also tired. Thank heavens they have a Tram service that cruises up and down the boardwalk. You can jump on it anytime you like and it is not a big expense. Sitting back on it and viewing the Boardwalk,Ocean and people is a pleasure all its own.
If you like the Beach, you'll love this about it to. There sand is real soft and great for Sand castle building. My son did this on our second day and had hours of fun. Yes, Mom and Dad joined in. It's a good family time and makes for great pictures too. The Ocean water is usually really refreshing because the water temperature is in the high 70s or low 80s, maybe, in Midsummer. Temperatures can be cooler in early and late Season. Waves are always big enough for surfing on a board, raft or just plain body surfing. I know we had fun. If your not into Ocean swimming then relax in the pool. Almost all Hotel pools overlook the Boardwalk and people going by. Sometimes sitting back, relaxing and just looking around is a pleasure for me.
You may want to take time out from the Beach and Boardwalk some days. We did this on a couple of occasions and found it was just as much fun. Ocean City State park is a great place to go. There things for anyone to do. Everything from Boat Rides, fishing or something you may want to try(Crabbing). Yes you read right, Crabbing. They showed us how to tie a piece of Chicken on a string and lower it into the water off the Docks. This was quite interesting, because after just a few minutes, our Son was pulling Ocean crabs up while they held onto this Chicken. This by far is the weirdest look you will ever see on your Kids face. A must DO, They'll think it great.
Another Day we took a ride on the main Street of town. We found a Water Park with many slides and had a great time for the Day. You may want to play one of the many Goofy Golf courses on the main drag. There is always something for all ages to do.
Maybe. Just maybe. We'll see you there sometime. Hopefully I do because we will be back sometime. Hope you have a Great Summer, Thomas Clinton - http://beachvacationsgetaways.com

The Top Five Destinations for Florida Beach Holidays By Dipika Patel
There is no better choice for sunshine breaks than Florida beach holidays, as the state has some stunning stretches of coastline and all the facilities you could possibly need to ensure your time away is as relaxing as possible.
The only real difficulty you will have when booking family holidays in the Sunshine State is deciding exactly where to go, as there are so many great resorts to select from. You are almost certain to enjoy yourself wherever you opt for, but read on for details of five of the best destinations.
Key Largo is guaranteed to be a good choice, as the island has a number of top class, but affordable resorts on its coastline. Most have private beaches, spas and facilities for water sports, so you may find you never need to go anywhere else during your break.
But Key Largo is also a fantastic location for wildlife lovers and if you can tear yourself away from the sand, you will be able to take dolphin watching trips or explore the Everglades on an airboat.
Fort Lauderdale is one of Florida's most popular tourist destinations and with 23 miles of beaches on the city's coastline it is easy to understand why.
There is a wide range of low-cost accommodation within walking distance of the sand and plenty of facilities nearby, including beachfront restaurants and cafes, as well as places where you will be able to try windsurfing, sea fishing, snorkelling and paragliding.
Clearwater is another fantastic choice for a family holiday in the sun, as it is reputed to have the best beaches in the USA. Relaxing on the white sand here is guaranteed to be an enjoyable experience and you will also find there are plenty of activities for children, such as bike rides on the Pinellas Trail and visits to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium.
For a taste of life on a tropical island with deserted beaches, you should select Florida Keys for your break. There are thousands of islands in this archipelago, but head to the Islamorada group and you will find the perfect combination of isolation and modern facilities in the luxury resorts with private beaches and spas.
Another destination well worth considering for a family holiday in Florida is Cocoa Beach, where you will find a six-mile stretch of white sand that is popular with surfers and water sports enthusiasts. There is also plenty to do away from the beach, as Kennedy Space Centre and Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge are both within easy travelling distance of the city.

Making The Most of Your Miami Experience By Harald Bindeus
With so much to see and do in Miami, it can be hard to know where to start. However, whether you are planning on visiting for the day, a weekend or longer, there are some things that can not be missed.
Shop 'til you drop
No trip to Miami would be complete without a shopping trip, and there's no shortage of options, with shopping areas catering for every style and budget. If you are planning on splashing out, head over to Bal Harbour shops - just 15 minutes from Miami Beach. This exclusive shopping area hosts boutiques, restaurants and shops, including high-end designer brands including Prada, Versce and Gucci.
Even if you are not in the buying mood, a lazy stroll around Miami makes for some excellent window shopping.
Hit the beach
If white sands and clear blue waters are more your thing, you'll be pleased to know that Miami offers some of the best beaches in the world.
Although there are many beaches to explore, no trip to Miami would be complete without visiting South Beach. Located just a stones throw from some of Miami Beach's most famous clubs, restaurants and hotels; South Beach is the ultimate place to sit back and soak up the Miami atmosphere.
Go fishing
Whether you are a seasoned pro or a budding newbie, the waters around Miami offer some prime sport fishing to suit every level of experience. There are a number of companies that offer chartered trips, so take look around and consider your options before jumping aboard.
For those seeking a slightly more extravagant outing, head down to Key Biscayne, where the boats are generally bigger and more luxurious. The trips tend to venture further out too, meaning you have a good chance of catching bigger fish! If you do decide to venture to down to Key Biscayne, be prepared to pay extra for the privilege, as costs here tend to exceed the average.
Dine in style
One of the things you'll notice when visiting Miami is the amount of restaurants you have to choose from. Between them, they offer just about every type of cuisine available.
Typical Miami cuisine - dubbed 'Floribbean' - is a melting pot of culinary influences from around the world; including the Caribbean, the American deep south and Latin America. So expect variety, lots of spice and big flavours.
Miami's coastal location means there is no shortage of fresh seafood, which is also reflected in menus throughout Miami and surrounding areas.
After a day of soaking up the Miami sun, nothing beats retiring to one of Miami's luxury hotels, where you can relax by the pool or in the surroundings of your hotel suite. If it is pampering and luxury you want, or just somewhere to rest your head, you are sure to find a hotel in Miami to suit you.
